American Attitudes Towards Foreclosure
Trulia.com and RealtyTrac released the latest results of an ongoing survey tracking home buyers’ attitudes towards foreclosures. The new online survey conducted on their behalf from May 10-12, 2010 by Harris Interactive® showed a notable decrease in consumers’ willingness to buy foreclosed properties compared to one year ago.
Currently, 45 percent of U.S. adults age 18 and above are at least somewhat likely to consider purchasing a foreclosed home in the future, compared to the 55 percent of U.S. adults age 18 and above surveyed online by Harris Interactive® between May 1-5, 2009.

Pros and cons of hiring a listing agent
Trulia.com just posted a great article about the pros and cons of hiring a listing agent.
When it’s time to sell your home often one of the first questions you wrestle with is – Do I hire an agent or sell it on my own? After all if you can sell your home successfully without the help of an agent you may stand to gain a substantial sum of money that could be used for the purchase of a replacement home, a new water ski, or that Harley Davidson you have been eyeing.

Trulia turns four: Congratulations!
Two days ago, last Friday, Trulia officially turned four years. Their website has been available to general public since September 25th, 2005. Prior to that the folks at Trulia.com spent at least a year planning and coding the site before the big day. But that’s a minor detail when these last four action packed Internet years alone compare to probably 40 years of life in a more mature industry!
Their number one goal?
To revolutionize the real estate industry by building the most customer centric online company the industry has seen. Yes, ”customer” includes both the consumers and professionals.
