    Sold my home on day one to the first person who looked at it. I had probably 20 more calls and various showing and 5 offers to exceed the first one but I had already made an agreement. It was with a Realtor for 145 days prior to that and not one offer or even a showing……I would never consider using a Realtor in the traditional way again.

    I knew way more about my property and was able to have immediate showings and get potential buyers in there right away before they found something else. Also, I knew which pictures and descriptions would help sell the home and the Realtor did not want to use my ideas as they knew it all.

    Flat Fee Realty was on top of any questions we had to help us with contracts and anything else we needed and the closing happened within 30 days from the contract… PERFECT SCORE! This is not a lie, I listed on a Friday Night and had a deposit check on the following morning by 10:30 am so get ready!

    Your help and support last night was nothing short of invaluable. Not only did your immediate attention to the issues I called you about, calm and reassure me; but your assistance also helped to change the course of the dialogue with the buyer’s agent. The result – after a lot of negotiating – was a full-price offer on the house, with a compromised closing date that was much further out than they wanted, but without the open-ended term that I was hoping for until I could find a new house. The only way I could be happier would be if I knew exactly where I was moving to on the day of our closing on this house. But I trust that knowledge will come soon.

    Had you not been so responsive last night – a Saturday night no less! – things would have undoubtedly gone very differently. Your response to my call put me back in a position of negotiating from strength and confidence, which was crucial to a good outcome for us.

    How on earth does anyone sell real estate without you? Every time I needed your help, there you were; and never a hint that I was a bother, or anything other than a pleasure for you to help. I know I am a long way from a closing date, and nothing is sure until the closing is over and the ink is dry; but I was not going to wait for that sort of certainty before telling you how grateful I was – or that I could not have done this without you. A full price offer, in this market, on a sale-by-owner, with a buyer represented by an agent. Who would have thought it was possible? Without you, it would not have been.

    I am so impressed with the service Fred provides. Signing up was easy and within days I had multiple showings. My property sold in less than one month.     My friend is a realtor and wanted my listing very badly. When I told him I was not going to pay 6%, he went into this litany of reasons to list with a full service broker. Thankfully I disregarded all of them and listed with Fred Romano’s Flat Fee service. Let’s face it, 95% of real estate sales are generated by MLS. After posting my listing, and offering the buyer’s agent 2.5%, I had 15 showings and 3 offers within one week. I just closed with one of those offers. Saved over $11,000!!!! Thanks Fred!

He clearly shared what costs would incur if additional services were added and expressed the benefits of additional services. Never did he push you to purchase anything further or pull a “now you owe me”. Overall, the service has met my expectations and beyond!

    Excellent value for the money, and I’m picky and did some shopping around with cheaper services (actually, from our experience having canceled a couple previous MLS services, it would be fair to use the term “best value”)

    The broker assigned, Fred Romano in CT, was responsive, friendly, and professional. There were no hidden “gotchas”, which is unusual on the internet. This is our experience after one month. If anything changes in our experience, I will post an update.

    Email from a very, very happy customer.

    Ordered the realtor.com showcase package. Within a half hour, I had an email from the listing broker, with instructions on how to fill out forms, etc. to be listed. I completed them, and by 2:30 this afternoon, was on realtor.com looking just as, if not more, professional as any other listing on the site.

    Over the course of the last several weeks, I had talked with and even signed up with a competing service, only to cancel it when I found how antiquated the proposed system was. All emails/electronic requests and phone calls were to be manually forwarded by the listing broker (with the attending risk of things falling through the cracks), and this did not settle well with me.

    No one knows my property better than I do, and no one has a larger stake in getting it sold than I do. Having spent 35 years in corporate sales, I know that each and every prospect is highly valuable, and many times what could have been a sale walks just because emails and/or phone calls were not returned promptly, if at all.

    What clinched the deal is that for an extra $35, Mr. Romano could arrange that when someone clicked on his agency’s website, automatically a website I had already developed for the property was brought up, and (this is what hit the ball out of the park), any calls placed to his agency’s toll free number would be automatically transferred to my cell phone!

    What Mr. Romano does is a real boon for those of us who view realtor commissions as delusional given current technology and the electronic resources prospective buyers have at their fingertips to search out and ultimately buy properties. He, and you at owners.com, are to be commended for providing an equalizing tool for those of us who have the skills/knowledge to market our own properties, but who are locked out of the system by a real estate industry which is protectionist and certainly does not serve buyers’ interests, because as we all know, ultimately the buyer pays for any agency representation — buyer or seller. It’s all built into the price of the property.

    Thank you for bringing the real estate industry into the 21st century!
